Matt Frye
Graduate Student - Ph.D. Composition and Rhetoric
Matt (here with Diane Kelly-Riley) receiving Harold and Jeanne Rounds Olson Writing Across the Curriculum Graduate Fellowship.

I am a teaching assistant at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. I focus on first-year composition and composition in transition from one academic stage to another. I’ve also taught basic writing at Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana’s community college network. At WSU, I teach first-year composition, technical and professional writing, and an introduction to digital/multimedia rhetorics.
Outside the classroom, my wife and I are cooks, gamers and amateur outdoorspeople (“have hiking boots, will park in a camp site”).

It took three years, but I finally found a picture professional-looking enough to put on the website.
