Caitlin Holmes
Graduate Student - PhD Literature


Caitlin Holmes received her BA from Gonzaga University in 2005, majoring in English Literature with minors in Political Science and Entrepreneurial Leadership.  She completed her MA in 2007 at Washington State. Her thesis explored the radical female prophecy of Lady Eleanor Davies in the seventeenth century and public sphere theory.

Research and Teaching Interests

Caitlin completed her qualifying exams in April of 2010, focusing on 16th Century English Literature, 17th Century English Literature, and Early Modern Religious History.  She is currently writing her dissertation and teaching at Clemson University. Caitlin has taught courses on Shakespeare, Literary Theory, British Literature, and Technical and Professional Writing.
