Susan Ross
Dr. Ross is an associate professor in the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication. As Associate Dean for Corporate/Foundation-Funded Research, she:
- In collaboration with the College Development Office, researches and fosters proposals to corporations and foundations whose priorities match those of the college; with appropriate WSU personnel, advocates for such efforts with the corporations/foundations and other internal and external partners.
- Participates with other college staff in the advancement of events important to the college, including those in the “CLA Season” and those for which external corporate and/or foundation support is possible.
- Collaborates with other associate deans and dean in authoring drafts of promotion, tenure, and third-year review statements.
- Participates in meetings—college leadership, chairs/directors, dean’s staff and its subgroups, and committees related to duties—as appropriate.
- Advances the college’s commitment to diversity and multiculturalism among the college’s faculty, staff, students, research, teaching, and community outreach, with relevant programs, goals, and activities.
