Ana María Rodríguez-Vivaldi
Associate Dean for Student Affairs & Global Education
Dr. Rodríguez-Vivaldi is an associate professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures. As associate dean, she:
- Directs the Liberal Arts General Studies Program, delegating operation of the program to the associate director.
- Coordinates student affairs efforts (including advising) with assistance of the academic coordinator and general studies associate director.
- Coordinates student scholarships with assistance from the College Scholarship Committee, academic coordinator, and development staff.
- Coordinates college offerings via Distance Degree Programs, including course rotation, course development/revision, program development/revision, budget, and liaison with CDPE and DDP.
- Coordinates equity and diversity efforts including the annual Affirmative Action Report.
- Coordinates international and study abroad programs within the college.
- Participates in meetings (college leadership, chairs/directors, dean's staff, and committees) as appropriate.
- Collaborates with the other associate deans and dean in authoring promotion, tenure, and third-year review statements.
- Advances the college's commitment to diversity and multiculturalism in all activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the dean.
