Edward R. Meyer Grant Development Award
Deadline: October 1
Provides support for a faculty member to develop a substantial grant proposal for submission to an extramural agency or foundation.
Edward R. Meyer Project Award
Deadline: October 1
Supports the scholarly and instructional efforts of the College of Liberal Arts. All tenured and tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply. Given equally meritorious applications, preference will be given to the support of junior faculty.
CLA Faculty Travel Grant Program
Deadline: October 1 (for travel between January and June 2009)
Allows tenured and tenure-track faculty to conduct data-gathering trips, present original research at national and
international conferences, and develop collaborative opportunities in support of the
faculty member’s scholarly and creative activities. Travel that will significantly advance
the impact of faculty research and creative activity is most appropriate for this
competition.
CLA Support for Major Extramural Grant Development
Deadline: October 31
Supports the development of significant extramural grants that will promote world-class scholarship and help to build the grants infrastructure of the college. Successful proposals will lead to the submission of extramural grants of at least $100,000.
